Social and Health Services

We provide support for the citizens of Lahti to help them develop their own well-being. We organise social and health services, which the people of Lahti can top up with services they acquire themselves and those produced by others. The Social and Health Services department concentrates on its own core skills, and the people of Lahti themselves and other parties support the aim getting the people to manage independently, and they help when necessary.

The health centres provide services in basic healthcare, and the hospitals look after those suddenly taken ill and long-term patients. The Social Services unit supports families, helps with social problems, problems with income and with changes in living circumstances.
