An animated video based on Lahti’s city story will be released on 30 October as part of the city’s 120th anniversary celebration week. Story will be screened at Kino Iiris on Thursday, 30 October from 14:00 to 18:00. Finnish and English versions will run in turns – nonstop and free of charge. The main event of Lahti’s 120th anniversary year will take place at Kaupungintalonpuisto. The program includes live music, festive speeches, echoes of history, children’s activities, coffee and cake, and a performance by Theatrum Olga. Mayor Niko Kyynäräinen will give a speech, and the Lahti Citizen of the Year award will be announced.
