Participate in shaping Lahti’s future – share your views on well-being

A new Well-being Plan for the upcoming council term is being prepared, and the City of Lahti invites residents to take part. We want to hear your thoughts on what promotes well-being, health, and inclusion in Lahti. The online survey is open until October 5th 2025.

The starting point for the plan is to ensure the well-being of Lahti’s residents. The Well-being Plan is the city’s tool for planning, monitoring, evaluating, and reporting on the promotion of well-being and health.

This statutory plan is drawn up once during each council term. It sets out shared goals, actions, and indicators to ensure that Lahti is a good place to live – now and in the future.

The Well-being Plan 2026–2029 will be finalised in early 2026. It will be submitted to the City Council for approval and integrated into the city’s strategy. The plan also takes into account the regional well-being plan compiled by the welfare area.

Answer the survey by October 5th

Residents can participate by responding to a short online survey that explores views on what supports well-being in Lahti. Completing the survey takes about five minutes, and all responses will be handled confidentially individual respondents cannot be identified.

At the end of the survey, you can choose to leave your contact details and enter a prize draw for Lahti-themed products using a separate form. Participation in the draw is voluntary.

The survey is available on the city’s Omalahti platform in Finnish, English, Swedish, Arabic, Russian, and Ukrainian.
