Finlandia Ski Marathon will be held in Lahti for the 53rd time on 7–8 February 2026. During the event, the Finlandia-hiihto ski tracks will be closed to all other users. On both days, the start takes place at 9:00 at the Lahti Ski Stadium, and the finish area will close at 17:30.

Event arrangements have been planned to cause as little disruption as possible to everyday life in Lahti.

On the competition days, Saturday 7 February and Sunday 8 February from 6:00 to 17:30, the Sports Centre area, the stadium, and all competition tracks are reserved exclusively for event operations and closed to all external traffic.

However, skiing on the competition tracks is allowed after 17:30 during the weekend. On Friday 6 February, the competition tracks are open for skiing, but the stadium area is closed.

Net fences and information signs are placed along the tracks to guide visitors in the area. It is essential to follow these signs to avoid potential safety risks or damage. More information is available on the Finlandia Ski Marathon website.

The event arrangements will also affect traffic and parking in the Sports Centre area.

The event organisation hopes for understanding from local residents and apologises for any inconvenience the arrangements may cause to daily movement in and around the Sports Centre.
