The breakfast club offers an opportunity for people with a migrant background and other Lahti residents to meet each other, have breakfast together and listen to different presentations and discuss. The events are held once a month and each meeting has a different topic, so the events may interest different groups according to the topics. The events start with breakfast on the 2nd floor of Felmiannia at 8:30 AM and continue with a discussion on the 1st floor at 9 AM.
At this breakfast club you will hear about how public health services are organised in Lahti, where to go, when to call and what types of services are available

At this breakfast club you will hear about the work done by International Work Lahti. Come to hear useful tips and information on how to find work in Lahti! Employers are also welcome to come meet international professionals and information on hiring non-finnish speakers in Lahti.
International House Lahti organises civic orientation courses in several different languages.Â
In spring 2026 the course will be offered in English, Ukrainian and Arabic.
Courses in other languages can be organised based on the number of people interested.
Civic orientation courses in English will be run in February, June, September and November.
The course offers a unique opportunity to learn about and reflect on Finnish culture, social structure, services, laws, responsabilities and rights and many other things in a multicultural and open environment.
