The morning club offers an opportunity for people with a migrant background and other Lahti residents to meet each other and listen to different presentations and discuss. Events are held once a month, and each meeting has a different topic, so the events may interest different groups according to the topics.
At the September Morning Club, you will receive information about entrepreneurship and how to start a business. We will also discuss how Lahti Region Oy can support those interested in becoming entrepreneurs.
The event is open to everyone and free of charge. Coffee and tea will be served. The languages of the event are Finnish and English.

At the August Morning Club, you will receive information about secure housing and how to prevent over-indebtedness.
At the event, you will hear presentations from representatives of the following organizations:

Tiia Wassholm, Enforcement Specialist, National Enforcement Authority Finland
The event is free of charge and open to everyone. Coffee and tea will be served. The languages of the event are Finnish and English.
International House Lahti organises civic orientation courses in several different languages.
In spring 2026 the course will be offered in English, Ukrainian and Arabic.
Courses in other languages can be organised based on the number of people interested.
Civic orientation courses in English will be run in February, June, September and November.
The course offers a unique opportunity to learn about and reflect on Finnish culture, social structure, services, laws, responsabilities and rights and many other things in a multicultural and open environment.
