Lahti TalentHub is looking for ideas on how to connect international talents and employers

The aim of the idea contest, organised by the Lahti TalentHub project, is to find ideas on how to connect international talents and employers in the Lahti region. Idea proposals can be submitted until 13 May and the best ideas will be awarded.

Lahti TalentHub project (ESF) supports the employment of international talents in the Lahti region and develops service models to promote and facilitate their recruitment. The aim of the contest is to find ideas and solutions to increase the connectivity between employers and international talents in the Lahti region.

The submitted idea proposals can be, for example, concrete service models, digital or physical platforms for networking, event or training concepts, or other implementations that create interaction and opportunities between employers and international jobseekers in the Lahti region.

International students involved in planning

The planning and implementation of the idea contest have been done in cooperation with international degree students of LAB University at Applied Sciences. The student collaboration started during the DuuniExpo 2022 recruitment event preparations but was continued as an idea contest collaboration when DuuniExpo was cancelled. Students, for example, will help the Lahti TalentHub team to select the winners of the contest.

Best ideas will be awarded

Written idea proposals can be submitted until 13 May through an online form. A jury formed by the Lahti TalentHub team and students will review the proposals and select the top three ideas. The best ideas will be rewarded with gift cards to event, restaurant, and nature adventure services
