Motorcycles and mopeds

You can park motorcycles and mopeds in a disc parking space without a parking disc or in designated parking spaces.

In Lahti, mopeds can be parked

  • in a disc parking space without a parking disc, and, if possible, multiple vehicles can be parked in the same parking space.
  • on pavements, bicycle paths or similar public areas next to a tree or other similar spot where the vehicle does not cause disturbances to the pedestrians, cyclists, the visually impaired or other traffic. Parking must not obstruct the driveway to a garage or a yard. Parking in pedestrian streets is forbidden.

There are designated parking spaces for motorcycles and mopeds at (click to see map)

Elsewhere, motorcycles are parked the same way as cars.

Parking fee

A parking fee must be paid in parking areas subject to a charge. Take the ticket with you in case of parking fine and leave the counterfoil on your vehicle.

The users of motorcycles and mopeds may sign a contract with Easypark or Parkman and pay the parking fees as a mobile payment.
