The bridges leading to Myllysaari, located in Jalkaranta, have been completely renewed. Construction work began in September last year, and access to the island has been closed since then.

In addition to the bridges, one culvert has been replaced, with new railings being built along its edges. The lighting has been fully renewed, and additional lighting has been installed on the bridges.

The park pathways on the island have been refurbished and resurfaced with asphalt, the surrounding green areas restored close to their pre-construction condition, and benches and litter bins replaced.

After May Day, during week 19, minor finishing work and dismantling of the construction site will still be carried out in the area.
