Write a short postcard-style greeting about your neighbourhood. It could celebrate nearby nature, friendly neighbours, handy services or a favourite everyday spot, no reason is too small.
Share your postcard and explore what others had to say about their neighbourhoods
Submit your postcard at OmaLahti.fi by 8 November 2026. Post under your name or anonymously. All postcards are public and open to read. You need to sign in to publish, comment or like.
Humour is welcome, just remember that every neighbourhood is someone’s much-loved home. Keep comments friendly and respectful.
Win Lahti-themed prizes
Participants can win Lahti-themed water bottles, socks and tote bags in a prize draw. Together, the postcards will create a collection of residents’ experiences from across Lahti. Greetings may also be used later in the city’s communications, on its website and to promote residential areas.
Prefer a paper postcard?
You can also leave a real postcard in the mailbox at the Lahti-Piste service desk on the second floor of Trio shopping centre. Include your contact details if you wish to enter the prize draw.
