The City of Lahti is organizing a free fitness assessment event on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, from 13:00 to 18:00 at the Palvelutori Service Centre (red zone). The event is part of the “Active Päijät-Häme” tour.

The fitness assessment is suitable for working-age adults and provides information about your physical condition without leaving you out of breath or sweating. Participants will receive comprehensive feedback that will help them assess their lifestyle and find ways to improve their well-being.

Book an appointment for the assessment before the event

The fitness assessment includes a Polar Index resting heart rate test, an InBody body composition analysis, and a grip strength test. You must book a time for the assessments in advance.

Fitness assessments are not recommended for pregnant women or people with pacemakers.

A Dedicated activity station for seniors

For the first time, the event will also feature an activity station specifically for seniors. At the station, you can test your grip strength and balance and get tips on how to increase physical activity in your daily life.

The city’s fitness instructors will be available at the station from 13:00 to 16:00. No advance registration is required for the activity station.
